Più che altro sarebbe un'altra occasione sprecata non dare un pezzo alla Menzel questa volta (sempre che sia nel film!), era previsto nel film originale, mi pare avesse anche registrato un pezzo prima della cancellazione. Dopotutto lei è la voce originale di Elsa e negli Stati Uniti apprezzerebbero parecchio il riaggancio con il personaggio di Frozen, credo.

Con la serie di Tiana in lavorazione non gli sarà difficile produrre una quindicina di minuti anche per questo film. Non mi aspetto tanto più tempo rispetto al primo film in animazione 2D. Pensare ad una separazione, per quanto realistico, sarebbe uno shock emotivo a cui non credo arriverebbe la Disney, mi aspetto certamente che nel film si lascino ma poi si ritrovino su nuove basi e nuovi equilibri. È una fiaba, un omaggio alle principesse Disney e al vero amore. Non penso tradiscano il messaggio del primo film, che già osava la modernità dei sentimenti scegliendo il contemporaneo Robert sul classico prince charmant Edward ma mantenendo il sogno sempiterno su basi più profonde e progredite rispetto agli standard attuali. In che modo si vuole rendere più moderna e multidimensionale nonché "empowered" (secondo i canoni di oggi) Giselle di quanto non sia già diventata a fine del primo film? Con un divorzio? Sarebbe un oltraggio alla fiaba Disney, mi rifiuto di credere che spezzino e poi non ripristino l'incanto.

Con la prospettiva che si spezzi l'incanto perfetto fornito dal finale del primo film, vorrei tanto tanto che questo sequel non s'avesse da fare.

Però chiaramente vorranno provare a ottenere un franchise, come per ogni altro nome famoso che hanno in scuderia...

La Menzel avrebbe dovuto avere un pezzo cantato nel primo film "Come d'incanto"?

Mi piacerebbe troppo vederla nel seguito, magari nel regno di Andalasia ha acquisito i poteri di Elsa.

non crediamo che Nancy (semmai ci sarà) avrà questo grande ruolo... anche se per Disenchanted ci vedremmo bene dei riferimenti ai film non trattati nel primo come Aladdin e Frozen...

Il film si girerà questa primavera...In Irlanda! Pare potrebbe fungere da scenario per il regno di Andalasia, che, se confermato, si vedrebbe per la prima volta anche in live action. Pare confermato l'arrivo di una cattiva e della figlioletta Morgan oramai adolescente.

‘Disenchanted’ to Begin Filming This Spring

A couple weeks back, we exclusively reported that Patrick Dempsey had signed on to return to Disney’s upcoming Enchanted sequel, Dempsey would later confirm our report on Good Morning America. Now, it looks like the gears are turning and the film will hit production soon.
According to Production Weekly, which yes, isn’t always the most reliable, they have shared that Disenchanted will begin filming this Spring in Ireland. I can confirm that this information is 100% accurate. The news is interesting as the first film took place in New York, and it should be noted that Ireland looks like the land of Andalasia, the animated land Giselle is from.

Crediamo che usino l'Irlanda perchè hanno contratti con gli Studi di Belfast già da anni (dovevano girare lì La Spada nella Roccia in stand by e poi Peter Pan la cui produzione è stata trasferita a Vancouver, ma i contratti devono essere adempiuti altrimenti si pagano delle penali alle stelle)...

Disney are looking for local dancers for upcoming film shot in Ireland

Production is set to begin during the summer

Disney are looking for local dancers for an upcoming film which will be shot in Ireland.

Walt Disney Studios sent out a casting call for a musical which is set to begin production during the summer, with the rehearsals due to begin in mid-March.

The world-famous studios said that they are looking for “technically trained dancers for an upcoming musical feature film to be shot in Ireland”.

“Seeking dancers to play characters ranging from 18 years to 60 years – all ethnicities, shapes and sizes are welcome,” the casting call added.

The studio has also specified that “strong tap skills” are a plus along with “elements of ballet, waltz, and jazz”, and that “dancers will be hired locally from Ireland.”



The Disney studios have not yet announced which film is coming to the island, but speculation has already begun.

Earlier this month, Patrick Dempsey confirmed that he and Amy Adams would be reprising their roles from the 2007 film ‘Enchanted’ for a sequel entitled ‘Disenchanted’, which according to Production Weekly will be filmed in Ireland.

The beloved rom-com saw Amy star as Princess Giselle, banished from the animated land of Andalasia to the live-action world of New York.

While trying to find her way back home, the princess falls in love with a cynical lawyer – played by Patrick.

The casting for the upcoming film is being run by renowned Irish movie and theatre choreographer Belinda Murphy.

Walt Disney Studios to film a major musical in Ireland this year

A casting call is going out for dancers of all types and experience for the major production

This could be the big break any twinkle-toed types are looking for.

Disney say they are going to shoot a major new movie in Ireland and they are looking for dancers - CorkBeo reports.

The Walt Disney Studios - behind some recent hits like the animated movie 'Soul' (with Pixar) and the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid with Halle Berry and Javier Bardem - have just sent out a big casting call for Irish talent.

And while they haven't specified a movie - it's believed the Irish talent is wanted for the planned sequel to the much-loved live-action musical romance Enchanted which is due to start shooting in Ireland this Spring and Summer (pandemic allowing).

The sequel will be called Disenchanted and will see Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey return to reprise the roles they made so popular when the original movie was released way back in 2007.

It's a big-budget production with Disney betting big on the sequel to the family favourite that gave us so many memorable scenes and songs.

The casting call from Disney Studios (who have an office in Dublin) says:

"We are looking for technically trained dancers for an upcoming musical feature film to be shot in Ireland," says Disney.
