Variety says Disney is giving the Jonas Brothers the 3-D treatment on the big screen, readying a concert pic that it hopes will spark with tweens the same way that Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour did earlier this year.

The Jonas Brothers film will include footage from their upcoming "Burning Up" concert tour, as well as documentary material on the lives of the three brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick.

Bruce Hendricks, who helmed the "Hannah Montana" concert pic, will direct, with Art Repola ("Hannah Montana," ESPN's "Ultimate X: The Movie") producing.

Also aboard as producers are Phil McIntyre, Kevin Jonas Sr., Johnny Wright and Alan Sacks.

"More than just a concert, this film will take moviegoers inside the band's creative process, and present them in a very intimate and entertaining way," said Oren Aviv, president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production.

The Jonas Brothers' "Burning Up" tour kicks off in Toronto on July 4, with special guest Demi Lovato, who appears with the brothers in the Disney Channel film Camp Rock, which premieres June 20.

In addition, the Jonas Brothers will be featured in the reality series "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream," which follows the trio on tour. The series starts on the Disney Channel May 16. They'll also star in the Disney Channel comedy series "J.O.N.A.S!" in the fall.

Ehhhh GasGas aggiornati!!!! Sono la nuova Disney Boy Band!!!3 fratelli, canzoni ...vabbè.... e folle di ragazzine indiavolate... Insomma, sono le nuove gallinelle dalle uova d'ora della Disney. Ora uscirà un musical su Disney Channel ("Camp Rock" e già si aspettano ascolti alla HSM) e una loro serie J.O.N.A.S. sempre su Disney Channel

Neanche io li concepisco... ma danno tanti bei soldini per fare The Princess and the Frog, Raperonzolo... etc....

Io non ci trovo nulla di male nei vari idols di Disney Channel, sono ragazzi/e carini e di talento, molti fanno belle canzoni e tengono bene il palco quindi ben venga. Poi ovviamente neanche a me piacciono tutti, ma trovo comunque che siano tutti bravi artisti.
