Questione di tempo e presto avremo informazioni circa il quarto capitolo della serie dedicata all'Uomo Ragno MCU di Tom Holland.

Non c'è rumor più interessante per aprire questo topic con la notizia che Sony e Marvel sarebbero intenzionati ad ingaggiare l'attrice Sydney Sweeney per la tanto agognata apparizione sul grande schermo dell'antieroina Black Cat.
La cosa interessante è che l'attrice è da poco comparsa nel flop Marvel targato Sony Madame Web, nel ruolo altrettanto iconico, ma non così popolare, di Julia Corwall alias una delle tante versioni di Spider-Woman; tuttavia, sia perchè la parte è molto piccola (nonché prototipica del personaggio: chi ha visto il film sa che l'attrice appare nelle vesti dell'eroina solo in un paio di clip, quando per tutto il film compare come una semplice adolescente timida e un pò impacciata), sia perchè nell'ottica del multiverso non è più una novità che un attore compaia all'interno del MCU nelle vesti di più di un supereroe (pensiamo a Chris Evans, noto Captain America, che ritorna come Torcia Umana anche in Deadpool & Wolverine e pensiamo al futuro di Robert Downey Jr, stranoto Iron-Man e tra un paio di anni prossimo Dottor Destino).

I registi rumoreggiati per il film sembrano essere il duo Justin Benson e Aaron Moorhead, autori della prossima miniserie tv Daredevil: Born Again.

Speriamo che la notizia sia vera! La Sweeney sarebbe una scelta popolare e molto azzeccata per il personaggio e sarebbe anche ora che in un film di Spider-Man comparisse una villain e quale migliore scelta se non la famosa Black Cat?

‘Spider-Man 4’: Destin Daniel Cretton in Talks to Direct (Exclusive)

Tom Holland will be back under the mask for the Marvel-Sony collaboration.

Destin Daniel Cretton is doing whatever a spider can.

The filmmaker behind Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is in talks to sign on to direct Spider-Man 4. The move brings an end to speculation of who would spin the web for one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood.

Cretton will bring fresh blood to this iteration of Spider-Man, which stars Tom Holland and is a co-production between two separate studios, Sony and Disney-owned Marvel Studios. And it will make him the fourth director to take on a Spidey solo feature. Jon Watts directed the previous three Holland-starring movies, while Marc Webb helmed the two Amazing Spider-Man movies that starred Andrew Garfield. Sam Raimi directed the trilogy that featured Tobey Maguire.

The Holland Spider-Man movies grew into $1 billion franchise, with Spider-Man: No Way Home enticing pandemic-weary audiences out of their homes and grossing almost $2 billion after it was released in December 2021. The film also starred Maguire and Garfield.

Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are back on script duties, while Marvel head Kevin Feige and former Sony head Amy Pascal are producing.

Sources say that Spider-Man 4 is running, not crawling, full steam ahead and will shoot early next year.

It is unclear what the story will be, as No Way Home ended with the world forgetting that teenager Peter Parker was the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. That memory wipe included those closest to him, including MJ (Zendaya), who no longer even know who Peter is. In June 2023, Holland told The Hollywood Reporter that he and the producers had recently undergone a series of meetings on a potential fourth installment. “The first few meetings were about, ‘Why would we do this again?’ And I think we found the reason why,” Holland said.

Cretton is popular in the Marvel fold. His Shang-Chi is considered a highlight in the post-Avengers: Endgame phase of movies, and he was on board to direct the mega-budget Avengers: The Kang Dynasty but dropped off last November amid that project’s changing production schedule and evolution stemming from Jonathan Majors’ assault trial. Marvel has always wanted to find another feature for him.

His nabbing the gig Spidey gig is also vote of confidence on his work on Wonder Man, Marvel Television’s Disney+ series that stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and that is in post-production.

The filmmaker remains attached to direct a live-action adaptation of Naruto, and a sequel to Shang-Chi, but it is unclear how Spider-Man will affect those projects.

Si dice che la Marvel voglia Ariana Grande per un ruolo, chissà che non la facciano interpretare la gatta nera,nel suo ultimo videoclip lei si è anche divertita ad interpretare Catwoman

Sì però la Grande non la vedo proprio come attrice action, per la Gatta Nera ci vuole qualcuno di atletico, almeno capace di fare quello che ha fatto la Johannson per la Vedova Nera. Non basta fare due smorfie di sensualità, Felicia Hardy è un ruolo complesso e borderline, ci vuole qualcuno come la Sweeney o la Taylor-Joy.

Colpaccio, Sadie Sink di Stranger Things, rumoreggiata per la parte della X-Men Jean Grey, è entrata nel cast del film in un ruolo non rivelato.

I fan sui social ipotizzano che il ruolo della Sink sia invece quello della mutante Firestar che, insieme all'uomo Ghiaccio, è nota per comporre il trio con Spider-Man de L'Uomo Ragno e i suoi fantastici amici.

Credo proprio che potrebbero averci preso.

Jeff Sneider, noto insider, rivela che le sue fonti confermerebbero che la Sink sarà una variante MCU di Mary Jane Watson, dato anche dal fatto che il film si inserisce tra i due film evento multiversali degli Avengers.

Qui un’intrigante teoria proposta da Screen Rant, secondo la quale Sadie Sink, in un’ottica multiversale e in collegamento col film precedente “No Way Home”, potrebbe interpretare addirittura Mayday Parker, la figlia di Peter Parker, interpretato da Tobey Maguire, e di Mary Jane Watson, interpretata da Kirsten Dunst, dalla trilogia di film di Sam Raimi!
