Vogliamo nel mentre anche chiarire, a scanso di equivoci, che pure Ron Clements lavora allo stesso film... la squadra è la stessa, non si sono divisi...

un film ambientato nel Sud del Pacifico fa pensare a colori caldi, atmosfere chiare e colorate... qualcosa sullo stile dei film classici di Ron e John...

Lo sapevo che Paperman era solo una prova... avremo un classico disney con quello stile. WoW

stupendo non vedo l'ora e se si parla di futuro dell'animazione disney allora forse sottintende anche altri film su questo stile la rinascita dell'animazione 2d

There's Big Hero Six and Frozen going into production, and then three projects after that. One of them Ron and John's feature, and two more. Nobody knows what order they'll be in, John Lasseter hasn't decided. But we've got more features in development. Three or four more beyond those three ..."

At which point my informant hurried off and I kept shambling around, telling people about the oncoming ratification vote.

Last comment was quite confusing that's for sure. Glad to know they are starting to stock pile stories to turn into films. Not sure what Ron And Johns film is, I did see a test they did last year that combined hand drawn and CG and no it was not Paper man. It was a tiki guy and it was awesome but again it was only a test so who knows what they have up their sleeves at Disney but good things seem to be happening.

Era su un tiki maori (sono le figure polinesiane al cui interno secondo le leggende sono racchiusi gli spiriti) ed era un test di animazione bellissimo, ma si trattava solo di un test, quindi chissà se verrà usato alla Disney...

Bene bene! C'è parecchio movimento allora!

Però su questo nuovo film di Ron e John sono troppo curiosa!! Un film ambientato nel Sud del Pacifico...mmmh...chissà!

Mi fa piacere che ce ne siano così tanti

Speriamo che non mettano troppa carne al fuoco e portino avanti troppe storie il rischio poi è che i film non vengano realizzati o realizzati male.. Però fa sempre piacere leggere che alla Disney non stanno con le mani in mano

Actually, that was the reality in the old, early days. But that meant dehydration and permanent sunburn for any Disney employee sitting for hours back of the desk. Solution? They put up a big umbrella so the people out there could live to a ripe old age without getting melanoma.

It was ludicrous.

So ludicrous, in fact, that feature director John Musker drew a gag cartoon depicting the front desk (under the umbrella) as the reception area to an "Islands" restaurant, showing the guards and receptionist beneath the canvas in bright Hawaiian shirts. (This was way before John Lasseter took over.)

The umbrella was eventually replaced by a big metal sun guard that looked like a space ship from Fry's Electronics. More ludicrousness.

Hallways weren't (aren't) intelligently laid out. You march down a passageway and the aisle comes to an an abrupt end, or veers off in another direction. Offices are small and chopped up. Large areas have little natural light. The place would make a dandy maze for rodents, but it's not the greatest workspace for human beings.

Meander is not currently being put to use on another Disney project, but Whited is developing a new piece of software related to animating hair. CHIARIAMO SUBITO CHE SI TRATTA SOLO DI RUMOR E NON CI SONO CERTEZZE!!!

Sui forum americani si stanno domandando di cosa possa trattare il film di Ron e John, di cui per ora si sa che è un musical ambientato su un'isola del Sud Pacifico (Polinesia)... qualcuno si è imbattuto in un disegno dell'artista Brittney Lee che raffigura un set di 8 Dei delle Hawaii... non è detto che abbia a che fare con questo film, anche perché Brittney Lee è impegnata altrove (su La Regina delle Nevi), però come si sa dei disegni improntati su argomenti particolari potrebbero comunque nascondere qualcosa, pur non essendo delle vere e proprie ricerche grafiche per un film... però mai dire mai...
Qui gli Dei disegnati da Brittney Lee... sono Pele (dea del Vulcano), Poliahu (dea della Neve), Kane (il più antico degli Dei, il dio delle foreste e degli alberi), Kanaloa (dio del mare, della morte, dell'oscurità, delle acque più profonde), Hina (dea della Luna), Ku (dio del sole e della guerra), Laka (dea hawaiana del canto e del ballo), and Maui (semidio che pescò con il suo amo le isole Hawaii):

Interessante come progetto, anche se per come sarà strutturato mi ricorda un pò Rise of the Guardians...

Questo lavoro è davvero bellissimo. E interessanti le divinità hawaiane!
Musical + Sud del Pacifico? WOW!!!
Con gli elementi che abbiamo ora potrebbe essere l'incrocio di Hercules e Lilo&Stitch. Mica male!

Immagino che con la rivelazione ufficiale delle prime foto di Frozen, corredate magari anche da un teaser, faranno pure l'annuncio di questo film ... Troppi rumor a tal proposito, io credo che per gli dei polinesiani sia ormai cosa fatta ... Molto affascinante come progetto, è vero il riferimento a Hercules è imprescindibile ...

Sono sempre stata affascinata dal mondo delle divinità, non vedo l'ora che dopo una rappresentazione ironica/parodica/stilizzata ce ne sia una più "seria" (passatemi la parola: senza nulla togliere a Hercules!)

Insomma sono entusiasta se poi rispolverano davvero il 2D... potrei collassare ora!
