"Smallville" creators Al Gough and Miles Millar will make their feature directing debut for Disney on Salisbury, a script the duo wrote as a spec, says Variety.

Disney and the scribes are keeping the plot under wraps, but the title refers to a fictional town. The plot revolves around a young cast and a supernatural element. The film is expected to cost around $40 million.

Gough and Millar's script credits include The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Spider-Man 2. Gough and Millar have been writing a Disney movie based on the Disney theme park ride "Jungle Cruise," and they are scripting Robotech.

Non so che dire, è il genere di progetto che sulla carta stuzzica, ma poi nella resa finisce per essere un film chiuso in se stesso, che finisce immediatamente nel dimenticatoio...Come una grossa opportunità sprecata...Qualcosa alla Sky High-Scuola di Superpoteri tanto per farvi capire...
Vedremo ...Il duo di autori è importante e se si rispetta la nuova vocazione Disney di concentrare i soldi in pochi progetti, ma di "proteggerli" per farne delle vere gemme, beh, allora c'è da sperare bene!!
Solo una cosa non mi torna...NON SONO UN PO' TROPPI I FILM CHE LA CASA DEL TOPO HA IN CANTIERE!!!??? Vabbè, di molti si tratta solo dell'acquisto dei diritti...Dopo tutto ne passa poi di acqua sotto i ponti...

più che altro ci chiediamo: che fine ha fatto il progetto di milioni di dollari con Stan Lee per la creazione dei film di supereroi targati Disney?
