Rinviato a data da destinarsi?

Da AnimatedViews:

Kristen Bell implies that Frozen 2 might be a long way off

In a recent interview with IGN on her new series The Good Place, Kristen Bell briefly discussed the status of the highly anticipated Frozen 2…and implied that fans may be in for a long wait. “They are not rushing the script,” Bell said. They have the luxury to not rush because everyone is going to be excited whether it comes out tomorrow or in five years.” This does somewhat contradict with an interview Bell gave earlier this year in which she said she thought that production on the sequel was going to begin “soon.” Frozen 2, obviously, is without an official release date, although Disney does have a November 2020 slot currently reserved for an “unknown” animated feature.

Dal sito Collider:

How are things going with Frozen 2? Back in May, you told one of my colleagues that you were about to start recording dialogue for the sequel. Have you done a lot of that recording, since then?

KRISTEN BELL: We haven’t, actually. I thought we were about to start recording, but I was mistaken. So, we haven’t begun yet. They’re putting the finishing touches on the script. We record, as those characters, often. At the change of season at the parks, whether it’s for Disneyland, Epcot, or when Japan opens, we will record new voices for our characters, but we actually haven’t started recording for the second Frozen. But what we have been working on is an Olaf Christmas special that we’re doing for next year (airing on ABC). We’ve recorded that already, which has been a lot of fun to work on.

Kristen Bell demands Disney waits 10 years before doing a Frozen live-action remake

With practically every Disney animation from our childhoods being reincarnated as a live-action movie, it’s inevitable Frozen is headed in the same direction.

But Kristen Bell, who voiced Princess Anna in the 2013 film, has begged Disney not to touch the icy fantasy until at least 2023.

She wants a minimum of a decade’s gap between the original movie and a potential live-action version, although she admitted she’ll be ‘too old’ to play Anna if Disney does move ahead with a live movie.

Speaking to Press Association about a live-action Frozen, Kristen explained: ‘I think in maybe 10 or 15 years, when sadly we’re all too old to play the roles, that would be cool, much like they did with Beauty And The Beast.

‘Frozen 2 is going to come out in 2019 so it would have to be a bit of a wait.’

And the other thing? Kristen has already offered herself up to star in a live Frozen film, saying she could play a granny.

‘Then they could write the grandmother in and I could play the grandmother,’ she added. ‘Or I’ll play the Duke of Weselton or something.’

Funnily enough, we got a taste of what Princess Anna would look like as a grey-haired granny in the original movie. Perhaps they were teasing us all along?

Frozen tells the story of snow queen Elsa – voiced by Idina Menzel – and her sister Anna, after their parents die leaving them in charge of Arendelle.

It’s the highest grossing animation of all time, earning £1.05 billion at the box office, with a Frozen 2 confirmed to be on the cards back in 2015.

As well as Frozen 2, a Broadway musical of Frozen is also set to begin in spring 2018.

In addition to Beauty And The Beast, other Disney classics which have undergone the live treatment in recent years include Cinderella, The Jungle Book, Alice In Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent.

Others in the works include Aladdin, The Lion King, Mulan and Dumbo.

As for where the remake trend ends, Bailey indicates there’s an unofficial boundary line at the end of the Disney Renaissance, around the year 2000 or so. “We’re not looking at anything very recent, [anything] that still feels like it’s still the provenance of current Disney animation,” he said. In other words, a live-action Frozen is still a long way off.

Che merda. Quindi quella roba vecchia sì perché bisogna fare l'update, quella nuova no perché essendo in CGI è già perfetta. Li odio.

Frozen 2 will change how you think of the first movie

Do you want to build a seeee-quel? Disney sure does and is hard at work figuring out the next film in the Frozen franchise. We recently spoke to the movie’s producer, Peter Del Vecho, and asked him about the top-secret project: How are things coming along?

“We’re working hard on it,” Del Vecho says. “We’re in the development writing process and are very excited by it. Like all movies, it will evolve.”

And has the story this time been tougher to crack than the story for the original film? (Which, as we’ve reported, was rather tricky to figure out).

“Now that we’ve been involved in it for awhile, what’s exciting is it feels like it builds on the first movie,” he said. “You understand things better in the first movie after you’ve seen the sequel.”

Frozen 2 has no release date yet, though insiders suspect it might not arrive until after 2019. Kristen Bell (Anna) and Idina Menzel (Elsa) are expected to return along with Josh Gad (Olaf), with Jennifer Lee in the director’s seat once again.

Kristen Bell on ‘CHIPS’, ‘Frozen 2’, and ‘The Good Place’

With CHIPS opening this weekend, I recently sat down with Kristen Bell for a wide-ranging video interview. With Bell married to director Dax Shepard, we talked about their working relationship, why he writes away from home, how early on he shares the script, why they tend to cast their friends, if she’s involved in the editing process, her unusual work schedule, and more. In addition, she talked about The Good Place, getting ready to film the second season, the status of Frozen 2 and why Disney isn’t rushing to crank out a sequel, her video game history and her love of the N64, and the Bad Moms sequel.

Dal sito ChristianPost:

'Frozen 2' Updates: Kristen Bell Reveals Sequel is 'Still Being Written'; Explains Why Disney is Not Rushing It

In a recent interview, "Frozen" cast member Kristen Bell revealed that the sequel for the hit animated film is "still being written" and explained why she thinks Disney is not in a rush to produce the next part of the story.

"Frozen" is regarded as one of the biggest animated films in the previous years that not following it up with a sequel is practically out of the question. However, almost four years since the first movie's release, Disney and other producers have been relatively quiet about it.

In an interview with Collider last week, Bell shared that Disney is taking the needed time to make sure the movie is done right. She also revealed that they have not started any recording yet.

It can be recalled that earlier in 2016, Bell told the same publication that they were about to start recording some parts of the movie which naturally stirred excitement among fans of all ages. However, in October 2016, Bell corrected herself in another Collider interview, saying they have not really started anything yet for the sequel.

"I thought we were about to start recording, but I was mistaken. So, we haven't begun yet. They're putting the finishing touches on the script," she further explained in the October 2016 interview.

In her latest talk with Collider, Bell reiterated Walt Disney's stance about making a sequel. She explained that while Disney Pixar makes sequels for animated films, Walt Disney does not traditionally make a movie series for the theaters. Follow up stories from Walt Disney are made available through home entertainment copies.

She further explained, "It was a very big decision for them to do. They need the movie to be right, they don't just release things. They wait until it's right, until is captivating and it's relevant. ... They want it to feel correct." Bell added, "They waited until an idea was pitched and they felt that story needed to be told."

Bell hints that the "Frozen 2" plot would be a second chapter of Elsa (Idina Menzel) and Anna's story that will click to the viewers just like the first movie did.

In the same interview, Bell also confirmed that Disney has informed her that recording for "Frozen 2" will kick off before this year ends. The "CHIPS" actress also teased that though Disney want to remain mysterious about the plot, she was lucky enough to know "a little bit" about the upcoming movie.

While not pre-announced, could we learn more about Frozen 2, the sequel to the 2013 Oscar winning hit, which is scheduled for release on Nov. 27, 2019? Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel are among the returning voice castmembers, and Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are returning to direct. (Related: D23 will host a preview of Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, a holiday-themed short also based on Frozen.)

The Walt Disney Animation Studios presentation started with a preview of Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, a 21-minute holiday-themed short that will debut in theaters Nov. 22 with Pixar's Coco.

It features the returning cast including those on hand for the presentation: Kristen Bell and Josh Gad, who sang one of the short's four new songs. Disney also showed the first clip from the short, featuring Olaf and Sven going door to door in the kingdom, collecting holiday traditions to share with Anna Elsa.

They also teased Frozen 2, which is scheduled for release on Nov 27, 2019. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are returning to direct, and the presentation featured clips of them with producer Peter Del Vechio on a research trip in Norway.

Da The Hollywood Reporter

Notizie in italiano su Frozen 2:
