Apro questo topic, sperando di far cosa gradita e chiedendo a Guido o Nun di inserirlo in rilievo, per fare ordine nel marasma di libri segnalati nell'interessantissimo topic "Guida ai libri Disney". Splendido questo libro è veramente un cult per chi ama stitch.L'ho preso paecchi anni fa, e devo dire che i disegni in esso contenuti valgono veramente l'acquisto

Collana meravigliosa...i primi 5 sono praticamente introvabili (a prezzi decenti). Io nel mio piccolo ne ho 5...meglio di niente!

Oltre agli interessantissimi libri sulla storia del cinema d'animazione mondiale, uno di Rondolino e l'altro di Cavalier, c'è Walt Disney-Una storia del cinema, di Lasagna!

...mi hai ricordato che l'ho letto da questa estate ma non avevo ancora scritto nulla:
Il libro è davvero interessante e scritto con competenza, non da uno storico della Disney ma da un esperto di cinema in generale...perciò su alcuni Classici ha una visione più disincantata. Viene fatta un'analisi molto approfondita di tutta la produzione disneyana e alla fine è presente una filmografia molto accurata sui documentari, film e cortometraggi.
In definitiva un libro adatto ai veri appassionati, non molto fluido da leggere per puro diletto, ma denso di riflessioni interessanti.

A me Walt Disney-Una storia del cinema, di Lasagna non è piaciuto per niente, non l'ho voluto neanche finire e secondo me ho sprecato 25 euro!

Io l'ho preso a 29 euro su ebay ed è, come vedi, perfetto!

Ti consiglio di tenerlo d'occhio, ogni tanto lo si becca, seppure sia - lo ammetto - bello raro... Ma è stupendo.
La seconda edizione ha una commuovente dedica a Walt Disney, recentemente scomparso, scritta personalmente da Arnoldo Mondadori.

Ciao a tutti, volevo condividere con voi questa (ri)scoperta: quando avevo 7-8 anni ricordo che mio padre aveva dei grandissimi albi a fumetti (ricordo chiaramente le trasposizioni di Pierino & il Lupo e di Biancaneve), ma anche tante Silly Simphonies e racconti di Topolino; dopo tanti anni, riordinando l'enorme libreria di mio padre vado a ritrovarli tutti, perfettamente tenuti!!
Si tratta degli albi della Comic Art (qualcuno li conosce?), casa editrice fallita, ma con un bellissimo sito con le copertine degli albi
Io li sto rimettendo in ordine, sono tantissimi, e presto posterò le foto sulla mia pagina della collezione, sono troppo belli

Vorrei più informazioni su Walt Disney. Uomo, sognatore e genio di Barrier Michael.
Nell'elenco della pagina precedente non lo trovo, eppure da molti è considerato come la più completa biografia di Walt.

Purtroppo noto anche che è difficile reperirlo, neppure IBS ce l'ha disponibile...

L'ho letto io...non mi è piaciuto, troppo complicato come stile e con troppi riferimenti a persone che con Disney hanno avuto poco a che fare (ovviamente grande risalto viene dato al periodo dello sciopero degli animatori)
Sono rimasto molto deluso.

Ma ristampare qualcosina di più "antico" e "importante" no eh? Comunque da apprezzare la ristampa (bella la nuova copertina) nella speranza che Giunti o chi per essa importi anche in Italia qualcosa del tanto materiale cartaceo ancora inedito nel nostro Paese.
