THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER – LE FOTO DAL SET POTREBBERO ANTICIPARE LA PRESENZA DI TOOTHGNASHER E TOOTHGRINDER?

Le prime foto dal set di Thor: Love and Thunder di Taika Waititi potrebbero anticipare la presenza dei due caproni del Dio del Tuono?

Lo scorso anno i Marvel Studios hanno annunciato ufficialmente Thor: Love and Thunder, il quarto capitolo della saga sul Dio del Tuono interpretato da Chris Hemsworth in cui Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) diventerà la Potente Thor. La data di uscita del film di Taika Waititi nelle sale era stata fissata inizialmente per novembre del 2021 ma, a causa della pandemia da COVID-19, l’arrivo del cinecomic è slittato al 6 maggio 2022.

Come anticipato da Chris Hemsworth, le riprese del film finalmente sono iniziate ed oggi sono trapelate online le primissime foto dal set, che mostrano Hemsworth insieme a Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Sean Gunn (Kraglin, Rocket tramite motion capture) e Karen Gillan (Nebula).

Stando ad una delle foto dal set, nel film potrebbe esserci spazio anche per Toothgnasher e Toothgrinder dei fumetti Marvel, ispirati a Tanngrisnir e Tanngnjóstr, i due caproni che trainano il carro del Dio del Tuono nella mitologia norrena.

In uno degli scatti possiamo infatti vedere il modello in animatronic di quello che sembra essere un caprone, anche se mancano ancora le corna. Considerando che questi due caproni hanno trovato ampio spazio nella run di Jason Aaron sulla Potente Thor, una delle fonti di ispirazione principale per il film, la loro presenza avrebbe pienamente senso, ma ovviamente non ci sono ancora conferme in merito.

Ecco il primo sguardo a Jane Foster / Potente Thor (insieme al nuovo look di Thor e Valchiria). La stampa proviene dalle magliette regalate alla troupe a conclusione delle riprese del film.
Devo dire che Jane è perfetta, avrei desiderato vederla bionda come nei fumetti, ma è comunque rispettosa del look originale.

Tessa Thompson on Valkyrie’s New Powers in Thor: Love and Thunder

In a recent interview with W Magazine, Thor: Love and Thunder star Tessa Thompson has opened up about Marvel Studios’ upcoming fourth installment, confirming that fans should expect to see her character Valkyrie with new powers. She went on to describe the hero’s new skills as “weird” and “quite erotic.” In the Taika Waititi-directed MCU sequel, Valkyrie will now be able to revive people by taking them to Valhalla, described in the comics as Asgard’s equivalent to an afterlife.

“She has weird skills, to be honest,” Thompson teased. “She can sense when someone is close to death, and she takes them into Valhalla, which is essentially the afterlife. She can revive people. But when she revives people, sometimes she ends up in their body. It’s a weird thing. It can be quite erotic. And then she has superhuman strength and is essentially God.”[...]

Akosia Sabet Reportedly Joins ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ as The Goddess Baset

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit theaters this Summer. While the film is currently still in its post-production process there is still fun news dropping and thanks to a new report a character from the world of Wakanda will be making an appearance.

According to The Cosmic Circus, Akosia Sabet has joined the project as the goddess “Bastet,” or commonly known as Bast of the Wakandan mythology. The site was able to find the news via both IMDb and the actress’ Showcast listing which names her role in the film. While this is no official confirmation by the studio, the fact that it is listed on Showcast, which is pretty accurate, means this is likely the case.

For those unfamiliar, according to the Wakandan legend, when the five tribes fought for control of Wakanda, Bashenga received a vision from Bast, which led him to the Heart-Shaped Herb, granting him the power to become the king and the first Black Panther. In Wakandan mythology, when the soul of a man reaches the afterlife, it is brought by the goddesses Bast and Sekhmet to a mythical green valley, where it can run freely and in peace for all eternity. T’Chaka believed in this myth, while his son T’Challa apparently did not, until he met his father in the Ancestral Plane.[...]

Dai giocattoli si apprende che la Potente Thor sembrerebbe proprio bionda, come la controparte a fumetti. Dai concept arts finora è sempre apparsa castana. Bionda sarebbe fantastico! Che le abbiano ritoccato i capelli in post produzione?

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER INCLUDERÀ UN GRANDE NUMERO DI DIVINITÀ [RUMOR]

Secondo un noto insider, Thor: Love and Thunder includerà un gran numero di divinità oltre a Zeus e potenzialmente anche Bast.

Il 6 luglio uscirà al cinema Thor: Love and Thunder, il quarto capitolo dedicato alle avventure del Dio del Tuono interpretato da Chris Hemsworth. Nel prossimo film, oltre alla presenza di Natalie Portman come Jane Foster (che sarà in grado di sollevare il Mjolnir), rivedremo Jamie Alexander nel ruolo di Lady Sif (dopo la sua misteriosa assenza in Thor: Ragnarok) e Chris Pratt nei panni di Peter Quill/Star-Lord, insieme agli altri Guardiani della Galassia.

Oltre alla presenza di Zeus (interpretato da Russell Crowe), secondo alcuni rumor nel film potrebbe esserci anche spazio per la Dea Bastet (della mitologia egizia), meglio conosciuta come Bast nell’Universo Cinematografico Marvel…. ma non è tutto!

Secondo il noto insider Charles Murphy, il film di Waititi includerà anche tante altre divinità dell’universo Marvel, ma ancora non sono stati rivelati i loro nomi.

La domanda è una: considerando la presenza di Gorr, il Macellatore di Dei, è possibile che assisteremo alla dipartita di molte di queste divinità? Inoltre, potenzialmente potrebbe esserci qualche collegamento con Moon Knight, che introdurrà invece la mitologia egizia, presentando addirittura una “guerra tra divinità”?

Infine, la sola presenza di Zeus apre un gran numero di porte: potenzialmente potrebbe esserci spazio per altri Dei dell’Olimpo, tra cui anche Hercules, da tempo rumoreggiato?
