The series cast also stars Teen Beach 2 alum Raymond Cham as Ryan's older brother Mark, Kamran Lucas as Ryan's genius friend Harris and Pearce Joza as his quirky friend Spyder.

Production is currently underway in Vancouver for a scheduled fall 2016 premiere.

"This serialized live-action adventure saga is a new genre for Disney XD, and we’ve assembled a dream team in a cast and crew that commands this action-packed series, masterfully blending high-end visual effects with compelling mythology to bring MECH-X4 to life," said Adam Bonnett, Disney Channels Worldwide's evp original programming.

MECH-X4 joins Disney XD's original live-action series Lab Rats, Kirby Buckets and Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything as well animated entries like Star Wars Rebels. The channel is getting ready to bid farewell to animated hit Gravity Falls on Feb. 15.
