Da We Got This Covered

Marvel Said To Be Eyeing Ronda Rousey For She-Hulk Role
By Eric Joseph

To be honest, I was never quite sure that we’d ever see She-Hulk as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even with all the characters who’ve already been introduced, one can never be quite sure of which players the studio will adapt next – especially with the complicated situation involving the Hulk himself. I’m sure you know something about how Disney and Universal essentially have joint custody over the Green Goliath, so there’s no need to talk about him at length when we’re here to discuss his cousin.
By now, pretty much every True Believer living on Planet Earth is aware of how a She-Hulk series will debut on the Disney Plus streaming service in the not too distant future. And should your memory serve you well, then you’ll also remember how we were the first ones to tell you such a thing would happen long before the official announcement, ditto for Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel.
I think the most pertinent question on everyone’s mind though is “who’ll land the title role?” Well, according to the same sources who provided us with the above information, Ronda Rousey is being eyed for the gig. Right now, it remains unclear to us if she’s actually been contacted, but she is named on an internal shortlist, among others.

Personally, I think Ronda is a fine choice for the role. The average Joe likely knows her best from her days of Mixed Martial Arts fighting, but she’s gone on to accomplish other things in her impressive and eclectic career. Action movie junkies should remember her from Furious 7 and The Expendables 3, while others will recognize Rousey from her stint in the WWE. Honestly, I think her ability to both kick ass and entertain only adds to her potential.
When it comes to other relevant She-Hulk news, our source also told us of how Red Hulk, the Abomination and the Leader are each expected to show up on the series at some point. Stay tuned for more though, because there’ll eventually be a lot of additional details to talk about as the project continues to take shape.

Liv Tyler Rumored To Return As Betty Ross In Marvel Studios’ Disney+ Series ‘She-Hulk’

It’s been over ten years since we’ve seen Liv Tyler’s as Betty Ross in Marvel Studios’ Incredible Hulk. However, thanks to a new rumor her character could be returning to the MCU.

According to reliable scooper Daniel Richtman (DanielRPK), Tyler is currently in early negotiations to reprise her role as Betty Ross in the Disney+ series She-Hulk. Richtman is also sharing that William Hurt’s Thunderbolt Ross is also in talks to appear.

It should be noted that there is currently no showrunners attached to this project, so things can go in a different direction at any moment.

Apparirà Hulk?

Sono in trattative...

Dal sito HN Entertainment:

Mark Ruffalo Says There Have Been Preliminary Talks With Marvel About The ‘She-Hulk’ Series

It looks like that character breakdown for She-Hulk wasn’t off-base when it teased Bruce Banner potentially being on the series as he’s the cousin of Jennifer Walters and contributes to her superhero origin story after a blood transfusion.

Mark Ruffalo has spoken publicly at C2E2 in Chicago this weekend about having “preliminary talks” with Marvel about appearing in She-Hulk, multiple outlets heard Ruffalo make the statement including ComicBook.

That’s far from him saying he’s signed-on or 100% joining the series, but it’s an interesting development given Mark’s character happens to be the cousin of She-Hulk in the comic books.

Marvel Studios has yet to announced who will end up playing Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk on the series.

However, here’s what Alison Brie recently told James Corden during an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden when asked about the recent rumor that Marvel was looking to cast an Alison Brie-type for She-Hulk.

BRIE: “I really don’t go on Twitter anymore, it’s dangerous. So I didn’t realize it was such a trending thing I woke up to a lot of Instagram posts of like side-by-side of me and She-Hulk. Which I just thought ‘cool’ and then that quote about an Alison Brie-type.”

“Honestly, I found very exciting because for years I’ve auditioned for the Anne Hathaway-type or the Zooey Deschanel-type, I was very flattered to be my own ‘type’.”

CORDEN: But did you go ‘wait, I’d like to play the She-Hulk’?

BRIE: “And then I made some phone calls and we’ll talk about it later”

CORDEN: Did you really?

BRIE: “[laughs and smiles] No, no.”

CORDEN: Why, do you not want to play She-Hulk?

BRIE: “I find it interesting.”

CORDEN: I’ll be honest, I started this as a loose line of conversation and now I’m absolutely convinced that you’re playing She-Hulk. But I’m not going to ask you anything more about it.

She-Hulk is expected to begin shooting this summer under the working title of Libra in Atlanta, Georgia and is most likely going to begin airing on Disney+ sometime in 2022.

She-Hulk: All Scripts For Disney+ Series Are Now Completed

She-Hulk writer Dana Schwartz took to Twitter to reveal that they have already completed working on the scripts for Disney+’s highly-anticipated MCU series. Because of this, castings might possibly start soon with Marvel Studios reportedly looking for an “Alison Brie-type” actress to portray the role of Jennifer Walters. However, given the world’s current situation right now, production might not begin right away as other upcoming MCU projects like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are still in temporary production suspension.

The She-Hulk series was officially announced by Marvel’s chief creative officer Kevin Feige last year along with two other MCU shows Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight. This marks the iconic superheroes’ live-action debut who are also expected to be featured in future MCU films.

The series will be developed and written by Jessica Gao, who is the Emmy-winning scribe behind Rick and Morty‘s acclaimed Season 3 episode “Pickle Rick.”

She-Hulk debuted in Marvel Comics’ “Savage She-Hulk” #1 in 1980, created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema. Her alter ego is Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner/Hulk, who after being shot is provided a blood transfusion from Bruce that turns her into a similar green monster. She later became a member of the Avengers and briefly replaced Ben Grimm in The Fantastic Four.

She-Hulk is one of a slew of properties Marvel Studios is currently developing for the forthcoming streaming service Disney+, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…?, WandaVision, Hawkeye, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel. The Winter Soldier series is set to be the first to premiere amongst the group, with the six-episode first season slated for an August 2020 debut.

Trovata la regista principale.

Da Deadline

Marvel’s ‘She-Hulk’ Series At Disney+ Lands Kat Coiro As Director And EP

EXCLUSIVE: With her next film landing the coveted Valentine’s Day weekend slot, director Kat Coiro is now headed to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is in negotiations to direct the pilot and several other episodes of Marvel’s She-Hulk series for Disney+. Coiro will also serve as an executive producer on the series.

Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao has already been tapped to lead the writers room.

The last major character to be co-created by Stan Lee, She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, an attorney and cousin of Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk. An emergency blood transfusion from her cousin gave Walters her powers, but unlike Banner/Hulk, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out.

The project is just one of a handful of anticipated series Marvel Studios is working on for Disney+, with The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki all in production and set to bow in the next year. No idea when production on She-Hulk will begin as execs and Coiro now need to find their actress to play the part.

Coiro’s next film is Marry Me, which Universal has set for Valentine’s Day 2021 after it tested through the roof. The film stars Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson and Sarah Silverman along with Latin Grammy winner Maluma in his first screen role.

Coiro has also directed numerous TV shows including Netflix’s Dead To Me, Showtime’s Shameless and FX’s It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, along with Modern Family, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Mozart in the Jungle among others.

She is repped by CAA and 3 Arts, and Dave Feldman at Brecheen, Feldman, Breimer, Silver & Thompson.

‘She-Hulk’: Tatiana Maslany Lands Title Role In New Marvel Series

EXCLUSIVE: After tapping Kat Coiro as director, Marvel Studios looks to have found its star to take over the title role in its She-Hulk series. Sources tell Deadline that Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany is the choice to play the title character in Marvel’s She-Hulk series for Disney+. Deadline broke on Tuesday that Coiro would direct several episodes, including the pilot, for the series and now the show has its actress for the highly coveted role.

Marvel didn’t immediately return a call for comment.

Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao has already been tapped to lead the writers room.

The last major character to be co-created by Stan Lee, She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, an attorney and cousin of Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk. An emergency blood transfusion from her cousin gives Walters her powers, but unlike Banner/Hulk, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out.

The project is just one of a handful of anticipated series Marvel Studios is working on for Disney+, with The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki all in production and set to bow in the next year.

Maslany also becomes the latest female talent to lead a Marvel project following in the footsteps of Brie Larson in Captain Marvel and Scarlett Johansson in the upcoming Black Widow movie. Marvel head Kevin Feige has made it his mission to diversify the MCU and this latest addition to the universe does just that.

Best known for her Emmy-winning role in Orphan Black, Maslany is coming off her highly-lauded role in HBO’s Perry Mason opposite Matthew Rhys. On the film side she has been seen in the Lionsgate pic Stronger and Destroyer. She appeared on Broadway opposite Bryan Cranston and Tony Goldwyn in 2018’s Network.

She is repped by ICM Partners.

Da The Disinsider

Rumor: Younger Bruce Banner to Appear in ‘She-Hulk’ Disney+ Series

Marvel Studios is currently on pre-production on their newest Disney+ series, She-Hulk. The studio found their titular character, and with casting ongoing, a new report has emerged stating we could be seeing a new version of one of the Avengers.
According to The Direct, She-Hulk is set to feature a younger version of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner. Marvel Studios is currently casting an actor around the age of 10 years old for the role. Additional information has yet to be revealed.
A younger version of Bruce Banner could point to two things. First, we already know that Mark Ruffalo is set to make an appearance in the series as the current Bruce Banner, and the last time we saw him, he was playing with time travel as professor Hulk in Avengers: Endgame, time travel could play a part in the series as the studio looks to be playing the idea in WandaVision and in Loki.
Another idea, which seems more likely, is that a younger Bruce Banner could be used for flashbacks, as Banner and Jennifer Walters are cousins and did grow up together, which could give us a little insight on Bruce’s life growing up. In the comics Bruce had an abusive father, that helped fuel his rage as Hulk. Nonetheless, we will have to wait and see where the studio intends to go officially.

Orphan Black star, Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk. Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) penned the script, while Kat Coiro (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) will serve as the series’ director.
Previous reports have come out stating Thunderbolt Ross could be making an appearance in the series, and will be the debut of Ross’ alter-ego the Red Hulk. Also reports surfaced that Liv Tyler would be reprising her role as Betty Ross, the daughter of Thunderbolt.
Production on the project is slated to begin in February at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. The series will be apart of Marvel Studios Phase Four, which starts with Black Widow in November.

Le prime serie dei Marvel Studio in arrivo su Disney+ sono WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki e Hawkeye.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Loki, WandaVision.

Krysten Ritter Rumored To Reprise As Jessica Jones In ‘She-Hulk’

A report came out today, which we’ve been hearing as well, saying that Krysten Ritter will come back to the MCU as Jessica Jones.

We last saw Jones in 2019, ending with season three of her titular series. Her character, along with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil.

Nothing else was announced.

RUMOR: ‘She-Hulk’ Could Introduce Skaar

For the last few weeks there have been several rumors floating around regarding the upcoming She-Hulk Disney+ series. While just yesterday we told you that the titular character’s arch-nemesis Titania could appear in the series (played by The Good Place‘s Jameela Jamil), today there seems to be another unconfirmed report circulating that says the show might also introduce Skaar. This, according to sources close to the site MCU Direct.

Now, for those who might be unfamiliar with the character, in the comics he is the son of both Bruce Banner and Caiera the Oldstrong, an alien from the planet Sakaar. Skaar was conceived during the notorious Planet Hulk storyline. As you might expect, he inherited several powers from his father, including the power to transform.

As you may recall, because Banner and the Hulk disappeared after the events of Age of Ultron, there’s a gap of time in his life that is unaccounted for, so he may have actually fallen in love with someone else to heal the wounds from his relationship with Natasha and he might have actually had a son. While it’s not entirely clear if the character will still be Banner’s biological son in the series, should he appear, it’d certainly be interesting to see how he’s incorporated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

If Banner has no recollection or knowledge of having a son that might actually be hilarious. Considering that the show is supposed to be a legal comedy I can totally see Marvel going that route. Imagine if Jennifer Walters had to take Bruce to court for child support?

Nevertheless, this is an unconfirmed report and should be taken with a grain of salt until it’s officially confirmed by Marvel or a major trade.

She-Hulk will follow Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters as she juggles being a lawyer and a superhero with powers similar to The Hulk.

In the comics, Walters develops superhuman strength and transforms into a milder version of The Hulk after receiving a blood transfusion from Bruce Banner, her cousin. It remains to be seen whether or not the show will follow that storyline, or if it will introduce Maslany’s character post-procedure.

In addition to Maslany, Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth will reprise their roles as the Hulk and the Abomination respectively. The series will also star Ginger Gonzaga (Space Force) and Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton).

Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) will serve as the series writer, while Kat Coiro will helm the entire show. It’s expected to drop on Disney+ sometime next year.

Report: Megan Thee Stallion to Appear in Disney+’s She-Hulk

Marvel Studios is currently in production on the She-Hulk series coming to Disney+, and while information on the plot is being kept under wraps, a recent report seems to indicate that a very famous artist will be appearing in the series.

According to a report from YouTube channel “Everything Always,” rapper Megan Thee Stallion will reportedly appear in the upcoming Disney+ series as herself. In a video detailing the news, host Michael Roman noted that the addition to the cast wouldn’t be a simple cameo and that the artist could be showing up in the series in a recurring role. However, Roman did note that all news should be taken with a grain of salt, and that it wasn’t confirmed that anything was happening until it happened.

Should this be true, however, Megan Thee Stallion will join a cast that just recently added The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil, among a ton of new faces to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Renée Elise Goldsberry will play Amelia and Ginger Gonzaga is confirmed for the project. As far as returning faces, Mark Ruffalo returns and Tim Roth will reprise Abomination from the Edward Norton-led The Incredible Hulk.

Da The Disinsider

RUMOR: Jim Carrey Tapped To Play M.O.D.O.K in MCU

You read right.

The MCU might not only be gaining an extremely iconic actor, but a fantastic, new longterm villain as well.

According to a new post added to the Marvel Studios Spoiler subreddit celebrating Halloween, it was revealed that Jim Carrey could potentially already be cast in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe as M.O.D.O.K.

Yes, that is a lot of news to take in and because it’s unsubstantiated there is a chance it may not even be true – there are, after all, several other details about upcoming projects listed there that could be bogus. That’s why we urge you to take this news with a grain of salt.

Conversely, considering that there are also some things on the post that have since been confirmed by major trades and Marvel Studios, there is an equal chance that the “news” could very real.

Regardless, the post goes on to say that we Carrey’s character could debut as early as She-Hulk. That’s next year. However, it’s unclear if Carrey would be introduced as the final version of the villain or George Tarleton, the AIM scientist who eventually mutates into M.O.D.O.K.

As mentioned before, it’s hinted that the character would have an arc that would span a multitude of Disney+ series and theatrical Marvel movies. With M.O.D.O.K traditionally being an antagonist Captain America, it’s possible that his arc could culminate in the forthcoming Captain America 4.

The post also harkens back to previous rumors where it was believed M.O.D.O.K would play some sort of role in the next Ant-Man film. It’s unclear though if the character leapt off the pages from earlier drafts of the script.

Obviously, this isn’t Carrey’s first foray into the superhero genre. He previously played The Riddler in Batman Forever. While he probably launched that character into notoriety, it’ll be interesting to see what he does with an already pretty popular villain.

Between being the main baddie in Square Enix’s Avengers game and getting his own animated series on Hulu, the character who has gone and taken on a life of his own in recent years.

In She-Hulk ci saranno molti cameo.
