Dal sito Heroic Hollywood:

Kevin Feige Comments On ‘Young Avengers’ Joining The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Introduced back in 2005, the Young Avengers are a team of adolescent characters who tend to have connections to the Avengers in the comics. This team includes the daughter of Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man, Cassie Lang, who goes by the code name Stature. Cassie is the first member of the team to appear in live-action in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, another Young Avenger almost joined the MCU in this year’s Black Panther, as director Ryan Coogler considered using Elijah Bradley, a.k.a. Patriot, in an early draft of the film’s script.

Could we possibly see the Young Avengers make the leap from the page to the screen in the future? In the upcoming Ant-Man And The Wasp, there’s an interaction between Scott and his daughter which might hint at a heroic future for Cassie. At the press junket for the film, I asked Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige about this interaction and if we could see even more young heroes like the Young Avengers joining Runaways and Cloak And Dagger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future.

“Well…sure. And both of those you just mentioned we talked about for a long time and they went over to be successful TV shows. We’ve always been fans of Power Pack and figuring that out. And yes. So…where and when we would see the evolution of that? I don’t know. And certainly – taking our cue from the comics as we always do – that’s why we wanted Cassie, a very young Cassie in this movie, to be inspired by her father. Just planting seeds.”

Though it remains to be seen when we might see some of these characters, it does appear that there might already be some plans in motion when it comes to younger heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future. For now, Marvel fans can catch Cassie Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp, which opens in theaters on July 6, 2018.

Would you like to see the Young Avengers or even Power Pack make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below.

Dal sito MCU Cosmic:

What’s Next For ‘Avengers’ in Phase 4?

In just a couple of months Marvel Studios will release the culmination of their first 21 movies and the conclusion to the saga of the original six Avengers with Avengers: Endgame. The MCU will be a very different place following that movie, and now there are starting to be some rumors about what Marvel may be planning regards to the future of the Avengers franchise.

The interesting thing is what it’ll be called. These rumors are still very early and it could be several years before anything materializes, but there are whispers going around about both a “Young Avengers” and a “New Avengers“, but it’s very possible those are the same thing.

Whatever the movie ends up being called, it would be something that combines some of the younger Avengers characters in the Young Avengers roster with older characters such as Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange to make a New Avengers team.

This could be why there are so many rumors about Young Avengers characters being introduced in the upcoming Disney+ series. Characters like Kate Bishop or even the offspring of Vision and Wanda could show up on one of the Disney+ series, and since they’re made and produced by Marvel Studios, move on to the big screen in whatever this New Avengers team up movie becomes. But to be clear, there’s no rumored lineup of the “Young” Avengers in the movie just yet. So those worried about not seeing a favorite show up can rest easy for now. It’s all very early.

There have also been rumors out there of a Dark Avengers movie being a possibility, but there’s enough smoke around a New/Young Avengers project that it seems like that might be coming first; again all of the Disney+ stuff seems to connect and fit with such a team being put together.

So again, this is all just rumors, but it seems like Marvel won’t be sitting on the franchise even though the original six members may or may not be involved anymore. In the comics, Avengers always had a rotating roster and multiple different versions over the years, so it won’t be shocking to see some kind of New Avengers form within the next few years as we go through Phase 4.

There Appears to Be Several Inactive Facebook Pages For Future Marvel Movies

Here’s something very interesting in the week leading up to San Diego Comic Con.

ComicBook.com noticed that there are some unactivated Facebook pages that look like they’re for future Marvel movies. Specifically, ComicBook found pages for Black Widow and Marvel’s Eternals that are set to private and not active yet:

Facebook.com/BlackWidow
Facebook.com/MarvelsEternals

If you view these pages on a desktop browser they show the page you see when a Facebook page isn’t published for the public yet and is private:

[...]

Following their discovery of those two pages, it’s been found that there are several other phantom pages for Marvel properties:

Facebook.com/DarkAvengers
Facebook.com/YoungAvengersOfficial
Facebook.com/MarvelsIronHeart

None of those are too surprising as they’ve all been heavily rumored to be happening. That Hashtag Show reported that there is a Dark Avengers script, Young Avengers has been rumored, and of course there has been a lot of talk about Iron Heart recently.

Will all of these be announced at SDCC next weekend? It’s hard to say. Black Widow and The Eternals are a certain, but the others are definitely interesting to consider…

Anche il sito We Got This Covered (che è sempre da prendere MOLTO con le pinze) riportava mesi fa questa notizia:

New Avengers Movie In Development At Marvel, Will Feature Young Heroes

Marvel fans are prepared for some big changes in the MCU following Avengers: Endgame. We’ve been told repeatedly that the fourth Avengers movie will mark both the end of the first decade of the franchise and a new beginning for it. One obvious way to do that would be to totally revamp the team’s line-up, and if our intel’s correct, that’s apparently exactly what the studio’s got planned.

Sources close to We Got This Covered have confirmed that a New Avengers movie is in the early stages of development over at Marvel. Despite the title, the line-up being touted for the film is the group known as the Young Avengers in the comics – the next generation of heroes. Specifically, we’ve been informed that the rejuvenated roster will be made up of Kate Bishop’s Hawkeye, Hulkling, Iron Lad, Patriot, Wiccan, Stature and Vision (not Paul Bettany’s version).

The only casting confirmed so far is that Emma Fuhrmann’s playing Stature and, as has been theorized, she’ll be seen as an older Cassie Lang – Ant-Man’s daughter – in Endgame, which will introduce the concept of the new team as we say goodbye to the old one.

That certainly matches up with what we’ve heard already, too, as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has admitted that the inclusion of Cassie in the Ant-Man films was part of a move to “plant seeds” for the arrival of the Young Avengers. Also, don’t forget that Katherine Langford’s turning up in Endgame as well, and she’s rumored to be playing Kate Bishop.

The rest of the reported line-up would also fit where the MCU is at right now. Young heroes like Patriot and Hulking would be inspired by Captain America and Bruce Banner, and then there’s Iron Lad who, well, let’s just say he’s closely connected with a Fantastic Four villain – a property that Marvel will soon get the rights to. Finally, Wiccan and Vision 2.0. are likely Scarlet Witch and Vis’ kids, with the latter replacing Speed from the comics.

All things considered, a Young – or, apparently, New – Avengers movie definitely seems like a no-brainer for Marvel as they head into Phase Four, and as soon as we learn more about it, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Sempre il sito We Got This Covered riportava, mesi fa, questa notizia:

Here’s How Avengers: Endgame Paves The Way For The New Avengers

Avengers: Endgame is the end of the road for many of the OG heroes, but the movie certainly sows the seeds for the next generation of Avengers, just as Kevin Feige has previously hinted was the plan. The major way it does this is by moving the franchise forward five years, allowing some key young characters to have grown up in that time. So, with that in mind, let’s have a look at the future Avengers it might have introduced us to.

The most obvious is Cassie Lang. When Ant-Man emerges from the Quantum Realm, he discovers that his daughter is now a teenager. As he hugs her, he says: “you’ve gotten so big.” This has to be a tease that actress Emma Fuhrman is about to take on the alter ego of Stature, as Cassie does in the comics.

Meanwhile, Clint Barton’s daughter Lyla is an original creation for the screen, and she’s currently a little young for hero work, but there’s a strong hint that she’ll succeed her father in time. In the film’s opening scene, she shows off her prowess with a bow and arrow and Clint high fives her, calling her “Hawkeye.” It’s possible Lyla will become a stand-in for Kate Bishop. Clint’s protege and the inheritor of the Hawkeye mantle in the comics.

This one seems like a more left-field idea, but it’s possible that Tony and Pepper’s daughter Morgan might grow up to follow in her dad (and mom’s) footsteps, as she could be an MCU version of Ironheart, the teen heroine who takes after Iron Man on the page. We also have to wonder if Harley’s silent cameo at Tony’s funeral, his first appearance since Iron Man 3, was to set up a bigger role to come. Now that he’s much older, he wouldn’t be a bad fit for an alternate take on Iron Lad.

We Got This Covered has already reported that Marvel is working on a movie based on the Young Avengers comics team, though it appears to be being developed with the title New Avengers. Whatever it ends up going under, based on the evidence of Avengers: Endgame, it definitely seems like introducing a whole new generation of heroes is a priority for Marvel and we can’t wait to see what comes next.

Notizia da prendere MOLTO con le pinze:

* Secondo alcuni rumors, sembra che Young Avengers diventi una serie tv per Disney +.

Dal sito We Got This Covered

A Young Avengers TV Series May Be In The Works For Disney Plus

Now that Avengers: Endgame has wrapped up over a decade’s worth of Marvel Studio films, fans are wondering where the MCU can possibly go from here? Considering Tony and Steve’s stories have seemingly come to an end, folks are expecting Marvel to introduce a new line-up of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes centered around Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange and Black Panther. But what if that’s not the sole Avengers team running around the MCU?

A source close to We Got This Covered has revealed that the studio is looking into adapting the Young Avengers into a Disney Plus show. For those unfamiliar, the Young Avengers aren’t a Muppets Babies-take on Tony Stark or Bruce Banner, but actual teenaged heroes with their own set of powers and technology. First introduced into Marvel Comics in 2005, the youthful supergroup first formed under the Vision’s direction following the “Avengers Disassembled” storyline to bring Kang the Conqueror to justice.

Slowly but surely, the MCU seems to have set up every member of the Young Avengers’ signature line-up, and here’s how:

- Hulkling, despite the name, is actually a shape-shifting alien, the son of Kree hero Mar-Vell, who was portrayed by Annette Bening in this year’s Captain Marvel film.
- Stature’s size-shifting alter ego is Cassie Lang, the daughter of Ant-Man Scott Lang. Thanks to Endgame’s five-year time jump, Cassie is now a young teenager, and a perfect jumping off point into the world of the Young Avengers.
- Wiccan and Speed are twin brothers who are magically created sons of Scarlet Witch. We’ve heard that the WandaVision show will dive into Wanda’s reality warping powers to revive Vision (also important to the formation of the Young Avengers) and create a young family of their own.
- Kate Bishop is receiving her own Disney Plus show, Hawkeye, alongside Clint Barton. In the comics, Bishop forces her way into the group after saving them from a botched mission, which means the Hawkeye series could serve as an introduction to the team before they receive their own vehicle.
- Iron Lad is a younger version of Kang the Conqueror, who travels through time to stop his older self from world domination. Endgame firmly established time travel in the MCU, and also featured a cameo from tech-wiz Harley Keener at Tony’s Funeral. Could this Disney’s own take on the Iron Lad character?
- Lastly, we have Patriot, the grandson of WWII super-soldier Isaiah Bradley. Now that the mantle of Captain America has been passed on, could it eventually find its way to the younger Eli Bradley?

It seems like Phase Four of the MCU could be the biggest one yet. The release of Spider-Man: Far From Home is just a few short weeks away, and Disney Plus is looking into adapt all sorts of Marvel properties into streaming series, so who knows what might come next?

Tell us, though, would you tune into a Young Avengers show? Let us know in the comments section down below.
