Da Inside the Magic

Kingdom Hearts Live-Action TV Show Reported To Be In Development For Disney+

Just last year the most recent edition of the Kingdom Hearts video game series hit consoles everywhere in a major release fans had been waiting years for. And now, according to a new rumor, these fans may be getting something even better than this third video game — Possibly a live-action TV show based on the series!

This new rumor, taking the internet and Twitter by storm, points to the idea that Disney+ is developing a Kingdom Hearts TV series that would feature Sora, Donald, and Goofy journeying through various Disney movie universes.

For those not familiar with Kingdom Hearts, which has been a fan favorite of many Disney fans for the past 20 years, the classic video game follows Sora — who’s world is thrust into a quest to find his missing friends and prevent armies of darkness from destroying other worlds after his is destroyed and his friends mysteriously disappear. Along his journey, he finds himself in another world where he meets Disney characters Donald Duck and Goofy who all decide to go on this mission together by request of King Mickey.

At this time, there are no solid details of the rumor discussing a potential storyline or plot the TV show would follow. However, we’d like to think it would most likely would follow the storyline of the game series: Sora on his adventures with Donald Duck and Goofy as they attempt to stop the dark armies from destroying more worlds.

It’s worth noting again that at this time this is only a rumor. Disney has not confirmed that the video game is being adapted into a television show. However, some fans have already taken to Twitter to express their desire and excitement over the possibility of the show on Disney+.

Da We Got This Covered

Titans Star Reportedly Eyed To Play Sora In Kingdom Hearts TV Show

A few days ago, we told you that a TV show adaptation of the immensely popular Kingdom Hearts video game series is headed to Disney Plus. And while it’s still early days for the project, we’ve now heard that the Mouse House has already begun to look into possible casting, with the studio said to be interested in a Titans star for the role of Sora.
According to sources close to WGTC – the same ones who told us a Percy Jackson show is in development and that Disney is making a third National Treasure movie, both of which were correct – the House of Mouse has their eye on Titans star Ryan Potter for the part. He’s not the only actor on their list, but he’s certainly one name that they’re interested in at this stage.
For those who don’t know, the Kingdom Hearts franchise – which marries Disney characters and worlds with characters from multiple Square Enix properties – now spans thirteen games and is expected to continue growing over the coming years. The most recent mainline entry was the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III, which did exceptionally well with critics and did its best to cap off nearly two decades of story while managing to set up future installments, marking a great time for a TV show to come along and expand the established universe that fans have grown to adore.
Kingdom Hearts 3
Potter, of course, plays Beast Boy on Titans, and made his debut in Nickelodeon’s Supah Ninjas, going on to appear in a multitude of shows and movies since. He even voiced main character Hiro Hamada in Big Hero 6 and then reprised that role in two Disney Infinity games and Kingdom Hearts III. So, he’s no stranger to working with the Mouse House.
Once again, though, it’s still early days for the project and it’s unclear if Potter’s been approached yet or would even be interested. But just the fact that a Kingdom Hearts TV show is in the works at all is hugely exciting news. And as it continues to come together behind the scenes, we’ll be sure to let you know when we hear more on it.

Dio quanto sta iniziando a starmi sulle cosiddette...

– Sarà animata in computer grafica

– I doppiatori Disney originali dovrebbero tornare a dar voce ai personaggi (Jim Cummings, Bill Farmer, Tony Anselmo).

Questo è tutto quello che so.

Da Inside the Magic

Disney Eyeing Angelina Jolie & Will Smith For Upcoming Kingdom Hearts Show

We recently reported that according to a new rumor, Disney+ is developing a Kingdom Hearts live action TV series that would feature everyone’s favorite trio — Sora, Donald, and Goofy — as they take on adventure and journey through some of our beloved Disney movies.

And now, according to another new rumor floating around, the Kingdom Hearts TV series could also star some famous faces — Angelina Jolie and Will Smith! That’s right — Disney is reportedly eyeing both Angelina Jolie and Will Smith for cameo appearances in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts series.

Maybe Will Smith will be making a cameo as Genie from Aladdin as he portrayed that role in the live action Aladdin film while Angelina Jolie may be making an appearance as Maleficent since she portrayed the evil villain in the live action movies.

If you are not familiar with Kingdom Hearts, the official description reads:

Kingdom Hearts is a series of action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. It is a collaboration between Square Enix and Disney and is under the direction of Tetsuya Nomura, a longtime Square Enix employee. Kingdom Hearts is a crossover between Square Enix and Disney based in a fictional universe.

The series centers on the main character, Sora, and his journey and experiences with various Disney, Square Enix and Pixar characters.

In the original Kingdom Hearts game, Sora, Donald, and Goofy traveled to various Disney worlds including Olympus Coliseum from Hercules, Neverland from Peter Pan, Wonderland from Alice in Wonderland and many others. In Kingdom Hearts II, places such as Beast’s Castle from Beauty and the Beast and Halloween Town from Nightmare Before Christmas appeared. And most recently, Kingdom Hearts III brought in some favorite Disney characters from both animated classics such as The Lion King and Pixar favorites including Toy Story and Monsters, Inc.
