Contentissimo! spero che l'accoppiata di questi artisti ritorni anche per Oz: the Great and Powerful...!! E'la prima cosa che ho pensato e sinceramente, dato gli esiti, non c'è ragione di pensare che non vengano riconfermati anche per Oz, il produttore e la Casa sono gli stessi ...incrocio le dita...

Verissimo, sono ancora stupito per la vittoria dell'art direction assolutamente inaspettata. Aumentano i rimpianti per la mancata nomination al trucco.

Jennifer Lawrence era stata provinata per il ruolo di Alice e arrivò in finale, ma poi venne scelta Mia Wasikowska. La Lawrence ha detto che aver perso quel provino l'ha devastata, era il ruolo a cui teneva di più. Precisa però che ha trovato l'interpretazione della collega "perfetta e stupefacente"

Jennifer Lawrence Reveals Which Role She Was ‘Devastated’ Not to Get

Prolific Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has spoken about the one movie role that she was ‘devastated‘ not to get, and it’s certainly not the choice you might expect from the star of the edgy Red Sparrow or The Hunger Games franchise. Speaking in a recent interview, she referred to some of her auditions during the earlier part of her career and a couple of parts that really burned when she missed out on them.

It’s hard to believe that Lawrence may still linger on some missed opportunities, given the profile and influence that she possesses now with the film studios. Starting out with brief appearances in the TV shows Monk and Medium, she drew enormous attention with her performance in Winter’s Bone in 2010. Since then she has become the face of The Hunger Games as Katniss Everdeen, and an essential part of the X-Men franchise with her first appearance as Raven/Mystique in X-Men: First Class. As well as winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, she continues to involve herself in more controversial and challenging films like mother! and Red Sparrow.

However when she recently gave an interview on Howard Stern’s radio show (via ET), Lawrence reminisced about the one character that she never got a chance to play, as she said;

“Emma Stone and I had this conversation once, ’cause we used to always audition for the same thing… She got one thing that I was dying for, but the one thing that really killed me — the only time I’ve ever been truly devastated by losing an audition … was Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.”

The previous friendly rivalry between Lawrence and Stone is well-known and the two have become good friends, working on projects and interviews together. The Stone ‘thing‘ that she refers to is the role of Olive in the high-school comedy Easy A, which has been mentioned before. However the reference to Alice in Wonderland is something of a surprise, especially given the direction her career took after failing to get the part. Burton’s 2010 film received mixed reviews but went on to garner a staggering $1 billion in worldwide gross, leading the way for future live-action Disney adaptations. Mia Wasikowska obviously beat Lawrence for the role of Alice, and went on to reprise the role in the 2016 sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass, which unfortunately turned out to be a massive box-office bomb. Nevertheless Lawrence praises Wasikowska’s performance saying that she was “perfect and amazing.”

Lawrence also confirms that she wasn’t sorry about missing out on Twilight – “I didn’t really know what it was” – and is grateful for her Indie career. Despite the recent rumors about quitting films for a while, the actress still has plenty of projects on the horizon, with X-Men: Dark Phoenix and Adam McKay’s Bad Blood being just two. Still it’s nice to know that actors at the peak of their career can still dwell on past failures just like everybody else. It’s just hard to imagine Katniss Everdeen fighting a Jabberwocky.
