Potrei ripensarci.

Anch'io ho pensato a Pocahontas.

‘Frozen 2’ Will Get Sámi Language Version

Walt Disney Animation is working with the Sámi Parliamentary Council and The Saami Council to create a Sámi language version of Frozen 2. The filmmakers consulted with a Sámi working group on elements within the film — to be detailed later in the year — making this translation even more pertinent.

“For all of our films at Disney Animation, research is crucial to building fantastical yet relatable and believable worlds. At the genesis of creating Frozen 2, our filmmaking team embarked on a research trip to Iceland, Norway and Finland. We were deeply moved by so many of the places we visited and the people we met, including a visit with the Sámi,” said producer Peter Del Vecho.

In a joint statement, the presidents of the Sámi Parliaments and the Saami Council – Aili Keskitalo (Norway), Tuomas Aslak Juuso (Finland), Per-Olof Nutti (Sweden) and Åsa Larsson-Blind (Council), expressed their enthusiasm:

“We are deeply proud and grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Disney Animation. We are beyond excited that the film, Frozen 2, will be accessible to Sámi children in their own native tongue. It is also very gratifying to be able to share the news now as the UN celebrates the International Year of Indigenous Languages this year.”

Elements of Sámi culture served as inspiration for the first Frozen movie as well, blended with other influences from across Scandinavia. The film’s opening song, “Veulie” (by Norwegian composer Frode Fjellheim) incorporates traditional Sámi singing known as jojking. Traditional clothing and reindeer herding practices also informed the creation of the character Kristoff.

Rick Dempsey, SVP Creative for Disney Character Voices International, and his team will oversee the casting and adaptation of Frozen 2 into the indigenous Northern Sámi language. Disney Animation and Disney Character Voices International most recently engaged with key partners in Tahiti, Hawai‘i and New Zealand to create indigenous Tahitian, Hawaiian and Māori language versions of Moana, respectively.

Frozen 2 is set to open in U.S. theaters on November 22. The Sámi version is planned for release simultaneously with the other Nordic versions in December. Casting will begin soon.

Learn more about the Sámi Parliamentary Council and Saami Council at samediggi.no, samediggi.fi, sametinget.se and saamicouncil.net.

About the movie: Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award-winning team — directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez — the sequel once again features the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad in its original English-language version.

Secondo The Disinsider:

- Ci sarà un cortometraggio Disney Animation prima di Frozen 2;
- La colonna sonora pare che sia buona come quella del primo film;
- Le reazioni del pubblico durante le proiezioni sono state estremamente postive;

Frozen II

The next film coming from Walt Disney Animation is Frozen II, which will be in theaters this November. At the 2013 Expo, ahead of Frozen which was released that November, Idina Menzel came to the stage and sang the brand new song, “Let It Go.” Based on this, I would not be surprised if Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel show up during this year’s panel and one or perhaps both sing a new song from Frozen II. I also expect to see some new footage that will not be from a trailer, such as the opening scene from the film.

- "A long time ago there was a battle between the Northuldra and the kingdom of Arendelle. The end of the peace made the spirits furious provoking chaos between the Arendellians. The voices of the past are back and Elsa may be the only one capable of bringing the peace back to the kingdom."

Ancora qualche giorno e l'animazione sarà completata.

Dal sito The Disinsider:

Josh Gad Says ‘Frozen 2’ Songs Will Be Catchier Than The First Films

For those of you who have had “Let It Go” stuck in your head (for better or worse) for the last 6 years may be in store for some exciting news regarding Frozen 2 According to Josh Gad.

Gad recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and the Olaf actor revealed that the highly-anticipated sequels soundtrack will blow audiences away.

“Can I just say something outrageous? I’m not even sure if I’m allowed to say this, but can I just say I think the songs are even better in this movie. Now I’ve set the bar so high, but they are so good. Bobby Lopez and Kristin Lopez, who wrote the original, they came back and did songs that are just [phenomenal]. That’s the big concern. How do you top those [Frozen] songs. They’re even catchier, I’m sorry to say.”

This news should excite fans, as the same Oscar Winning songwriters have returned, and it has already been revealed that there are 4 brand new songs coming to Frozen 2.

The films original voice cast Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), Santino Fontana (Hans), and Alan Tudyk (Duke) all return. Along with new additions to the cast Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown.

Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are on board to direct. Peter Del Vecho is producing. Allison Schroeder the screenwriter behind Hidden Figures and Christopher Robin assisted Lee with writing duties. We did report a while back that Anna and Elsa’s mom may have a role in the upcoming film.

Frozen 2 is set to hit theaters on November 22, 2019.

LucasFilm, sicuro Indiana Jones e qualche Star Wars.

FROZEN 2

November 22, Frozen 2 will hit theaters. Chris Buck takes the stage. He and Jennifer Lee discuss the movie. The movie will address, "Why does Elsa have powers?" This is why there is more story to tell. Other questions include, " Why was Anna born the way she was? Where were there parents really going when that ship went down? Is there really such a thing as happily ever after?" A past will threaten the future and force the gang into "a might enchanted forest."

"Frozen 1 and Frozen 2 work together to form one complete story," Buck said. "It's a sotry that starts in the past so as you know in this Disney films, we tend to kill off the parents. We're sorry...but guess what. We're bringing them back." Lee clarifies that this will only be for one scene. Voicing Anna and Elsa's mother is Evan Rachel Wood. Lieutenant Mattias will be a character from the forest and will be voiced by Sterling K. Brown.

A brief clip shows Wood's character singing to the kids. The next quick clip shows Brown's Mattias explaining advice from his father.

A final clip will play showcasing a voice calling out to Elsa.

In it, the group plays charades. Olaf goes next, joking about this being easier now that he can read. He struts with his hips and "Elsa" is properly guessed. Elsa is next. She moves slowly and prompts some bad guesses from Anna. She zones out and looks out the window. After Anna guesses,m "Disturbed," Elsa decides to call it a night. Everyone parts ways and Kristoff tries to propose to Anna but she is so distracted that she doesn't notice and leaves the room.

In another room, Elsa is wearing their mother's scarf which Anna claims is a sign that something is wrong. "I just don't wanna mess things up," Elsa says, sitting on her bed. Anna joins her. "What would I do without you?"

Anna claims to know what she needs. "In Mama's words, cuddle close, scooch in," she says. She sings to her. "Where the north wind meets the sea, there's a river full of memory. Sleep my darling, safe and sound, for in this river, all is found." They nod off to sleep.

Later in the night, Elsa having trouble sleeping. She hears something and puts her head under a pillow but it doesn't help. She leaves the room. "I can her you," she sings. "But I won't. Some look for trouble while others don't. There's a thousand reason s I should go about my day and ignore your whispers which I wish would go away, oh. Oh. You're not a voice. You're just a ringing in my ear and if I heard you -- which I don't ... everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls. I'm sorry secret siren but I'm blocking out your calls!" The song goes on as she trots out of the castle and on to a balcony. "Into the Unknown!" is the hook of the song. The siren constantly rings back to her. She ventures outside of the castle and seemingly into said unknown, surrounded by a lightshow of shapes, snow, animals, and song. She tries to follow a burst of light off of a cliff but it fades as she creates an icy path to chase it.

There is another song coming later in the movie but it can't be shown today.

"In the end, nothing will ever be the same," Buck said. Lee points out that one thing that isn't changing is the cast returning and they each trot out onto the stage. They break out into song.
