Nel giorno del 24° anniversario del parco, viene annunciata la notizia di un cambiamento di dirigenza.



Euro Disney S.C.A. ha annunciato la carica di Catherine Powell a presidente sostituendo Tom Wolber attuale presidente dal 15 settembre 2014.

La carica di Catherine Powell (prima donna ad essere presidente del Resort Francese dalla sua apertura nel 1992) sarà effettiva dal luglio 2016.

Ora, Tom Wolber e Catherine lavoreranno insieme al fine di garantire nella transizione nella continuità degli orientamenti strategici a lungo termine.

In effetti, non so bene i motivi di tale cambiamento, posso però dire che Tom aveva intrapreso una strada migliore del predecessore Philippe Gas.
Più addobbi, più spettacoli, più stagionalità, ecc.

Spero che Catherine faccia di meglio e di più.

Today Disneyland Paris announced their exciting upcoming plans for their 25th anniversary. The celebration will be kicking off March 26th, 2017 and will feature everything from new Star Wars attractions to a new nighttime spectacular.

A new parade called ‘Disney Parade Stars‘ will also be a part of the celebration and will feature tons of Disney characters and brand new parade floats.

For the first time ever Disneyland Paris guests will be able to experience ‘Star Tours: The Adventures Continue‘, a big favorite of Star Wars fans here in the US.

Disneyland Paris will celebrate its 25th Anniversary starting from 26th March 2017.

New Guest experiences to include sensational new attractions, a grand celebration with the beloved Disney Characters, a brand new Parade and a breathtaking new night time spectacular. Extra surprises and features to be announced. Join the celebration with a multitude of new shows from morning through to night where Guests are sure to be amazed! A brilliant anniversary celebration beyond your imagination awaits you during the 25th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris.

Beginning March 26th 2017, Guests at Disneyland Park will experience Star Tours: The Adventures Continue*. The new attraction will take Guests on an all-new, action-packed intergalactic voyage, all in 3D… Epic. Based on the Star WarsTM films, Star Tours will take Guests to multiple Star Wars destinations where they will interact with characters from throughout the Saga.

Every destination will offer unique surprises with journeys through the worlds of Jakku, Hoth, Tatooine, the Death Star and more! Guests will be able to enjoy the attraction multiple times without knowing where the Force may take them. And all of the storyline’s twists and turns will be random, affording Guests the chance to ride the attraction multiple times.

Guests will also be able to join the Rebel Alliance by becoming the drivers of Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain1 (Disneyland Park). The Force will be strong with this attraction, which hurtles through the Star Wars galaxy, following the twists and turns of TIE fighters and an intimidating Star Destroyer.

Also arriving in spectacular style in 2017, Disneyland Park’s new Parade Disney Stars on Parade, where favourite Disney Stars, together with stunning new floats, create magic and happiness for all. Guests will also be able to discover a new show Mickey presents “Happy Anniversary Disneyland Paris” at Disneyland Park where Mickey Mouse will start the celebration by assembling as many of his famous Friends as possible for a huge anniversary party. This festive show will take place daily for all guests to enjoy. In addition, fans of the Disney Princesses will be able to witness some of their most beloved Princesses as they host their own sparkling show The Starlit Princess Waltz at Royal Castle Stage (Disneyland Park).

Finally, as night falls, there will be another spectacular new event: Disney Illuminations. This new show, with dazzling lights, projections and breath-taking special effects, will be conducted by Mickey Mouse onto Sleeping Beauty Castle (Disneyland Park). It will transport Guests to a location where the stories of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Frozen and the motion pictures of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean will come to life before guest’s astonished eyes.

Oggi sono venuto a conoscenza di un'indiscrezione: la celebre attrazione Cinemagique situata agli Studios, dovrebbe chiudere definitivamente da marzo.
Rimarrebbe chiusa per un anno, per vedere al posto un'attrazione a tema Marvel.

Adesso, non so quanti di voi abbiamo mai fatto questa attrazione, ma incarnava perfettamente lo spirito degli Studios, e cioè la magia del cinema.
Vederla distrutta per avere una roba marvel, beh, non mi rende molto felice.

Non mi piace la piega che sta prendendo il parco, di sostituire anzichè aggiungere.

Se l'acquisizione della Marvel da parte della Disney porta a questi risultati dentro i Parchi (vedasi anche la ritematizzazione della Tower of Terror in California a tema marvel), vorrei che non fosse mai stata acquisita.

Novità sui passaporti annuali.

Dai "vecchi" tre Francilien, Fantasy e Dream si passerà a questi nuovi 4.



A parte il fatto che come nomenclatura preferivo i vecchi (che brutto dire "ho un magic flex" rispetto a "ho il Fantasy") hanno deciso di fare i furbetti.
Basta osservare con attenzione la tabella di comparazione con quelli vecchi per rendersene conto.

Ad esempio, il Francilien aveva lo sconto del 10% sia su ristoranti sia su negozi; il Discovery che costa 4 euro in più garantisce meno giorni di ingresso e nessuna tipologia di sconto.
Il nuovo Magic Flex costa 10 euro in più del Fantasy e non ha lo sconto sui ristoranti (cosa che il Fantasy aveva) e incredibilmente non permette di fare le Extra Magic Hours.
Praticamente per avere l'equivalente di un vecchio Fantasy bisogna prendere un Magic Plus che costa 70 euro in più.
No comment per l'Infinity: 400 euro (150 in più rispetto al Magic Plus) per avere lo sconto del 20% nei negozi che prima era nel Dreams, e per avere finti privilegi vip tipo posti "privilegiati" in parate e spettacoli e utilizzo delle piscine degli alberghi.

Io credo che siano semplicemente impazziti, va bene che c'è il 25° anniversario e hanno speso un sacco di soldi (tra l'altro senza nemmeno avere la novità di una E-ticket ride nuova) però mi sembrano prezzi esagerati. Si paga di più per avere di meno.
Forse hanno pensato di applicare i prezzi che ci sono in America, ma là i servizi e i privilegi sono di ben altri livello.

Ed ecco che una delle (poche) cose che ancora apprezzavo di Disneyland Paris viene meno: il Fast Pass non sarà più gratuito.
A partire da giugno 2021, per accedere alle attrazioni che lo consentono, si dovrà pagare una cifra extra (si parla di almeno 8€ a persona per singola attrazione).

Io evito ogni commento, ormai Disneyland Paris la reputo una sòla rolleyes.gif wink.gif mi auguro solo che negli USA e in Giappone non impazziscano e decidano altrettanto, nei miei viaggi il Fast Pass è stata l'unica soluzione per riuscire a fare tutto (con mille corse): toglierlo, o metterlo a pagamento, sarebbe davvero una scelta impopolare.

Non l'ho mai sperimentato, neppure a Disneyland, quel giorno sono stato piuttosto fortunato comunque. Sarò sicuramente troppo vecchio ma a me quella tecnologia e l'appuntamento stabilito mi ha sempre messo ansia. Siano benedette invece le corse "single rider", con Indiana Jones addirittura ho evitato un'ora e mezza di coda.

e' decisamente una follia, considerando che il bigliett di ingrsso e' gia' salato abbastanza.
per alcune giostre era fondamentale il fast pass.
bah...chi la capisce piu' la disney
