Ancora una volta, ecco arrivare la stagione dei premi.
Come al solito, questo topic servirà per parlare di nomination e premi dei film Disney, ma anche di altri film animati e non.

Edit: noto solo ora che la Disney non ha presentato Strange Magic

Allora, di questi ho visto solo "Inside out" e "Marnie" e direi che tutti e due meritano di rientrare nelle nomination. Spero che (anche se forse non corre il rischio visto il consenso alto) "Inside out" non venga penalizzato dal calo di popolarità che ha avuto la Pixar in questi anni, merita decisamente l'Oscar più di "Nemo" e "Ribelle", a parer mio. Però ammetto che quest'anno parteggio per "Marnie" che mi ha folgorato più di quanto mi aspettassi e di cui mi piacerebbe la sua vincita. Riguardo i "Minions", io non li farei passare ma penso che l'Academy lo farà mentre dubito in una loro eventuale vittoria...

P.S.: Sperando che queste non siano le cosiddette "ultime parole famose"...

Però ammetto che quest'anno parteggio per "Marnie" che mi ha folgorato più di quanto mi aspettassi e di cui mi piacerebbe la sua vincita.

Sottoscrivo in pieno. Il tanto acclamato "Inside out" per me è stato una mezza delusione, mentre "Quando c'era Marnie", da cui non mi aspettavo molto, è riuscito piacevolmente a sorprendermi. Degli altri ho visto poco o niente, spero di rifarmi entro febbraio.

Vincerà di sicuro "Inside Out", tanto i membri della giuria hanno già detto ai tempi di "Frozen" che coi film d'animazione vanno più a popolarità che altro (non li vedono neanche tutti i film candidati). Io aspetto con ansia l'uscita italiana di "The Boy and the Beast".

Concordo su Inside Out e Marnie (anche se io ho preferito forse maggiormente il primo). Piuttosto che Minions io credo di più ad un'eventuale nomination per il film di Snoopy. Ancora troppo presto sapere il destino di Arlo (i primi giudizi della critica sono un po' più divisi del previsto), mentre non ho proprio idee sui film stranieri (a parte Marnie).

Sinceramente da un lato spero nella vittoria di Marnie perché l'ho trovato tra i migliori film d'animazione degli ultimi anni e tra i migliori dello studio Ghibli (contando poi che è l'ultimo), dall'altro lato inutile negare l'ottimo lavoro della Pixar con Inside Out.

Posso fare la mia previsione: Oscar certo a Inside Out, che verrà nominato anche come Miglior Film in assoluto.

Da non sottovalutare il fatto che, negli ultimi 6 anni, in 5 occasioni è stato nominato un film europeo. Peraltro sempre con merito.

Oscar 2016: la Pixar domina le nomination ai 43esimi Annie Awards

Come prevedibile, è la Pixar a dominare le nomination alla 43esima edizione degli Annual Annie Awards, i premi di categoria assegnati dalla International Animated Film Society a Hollywood e che spesso anticipano l’Oscar al miglior film d’animazione.

Inside Out fa il pieno con ben 14 nomination, seguito da Il Viaggio di Arlo con 10 nomination. È dal 2009 che la Pixar non vince l’Annie per il miglior film d’animazione (Up), ma sembra scontato che uno dei due film – molto probabilmente Inside Out – otterrà la statuetta. Le altre nomination nella categoria di miglior film sono andate Shaun the Sheep: the Movie, Snoopy & Friends e Anomalisa. Il film in stop motion di Duke Johnson e Charlie Kaufman si posiziona come outsider di questa edizione, ottenendo cinque nomination complessive. Tra gli altri film con un buon numero di nomination anche Minions (con sette nomination), Hotel Transylvania 2, Home.

Ricordiamo che negli ultimi 14 anni ben nove volte l’Annie è andato a un film che ha poi ottenuto l’Oscar come miglior film d’animazione, e nessun film che non aveva ottenuto la nomination all’Annie ha mai vinto l’Oscar.

I premi verranno assegnati il 6 febbraio 2016.
